A blouse with smocking
teagown
antoinette_25

I made a blouse with smocked neck band. It was finished couple of months ago and I worn it couple of times.

Pattern is from Australian Smocking & Embroidery magazine Issue 62. The design is called Georgia by Debbie Shepherd of South Australia. I used tangerine coloured cotton voile instead of white georgette as recommended. I have modified this garment in construction by adding underarm gussets.

For my records, I used DMC stranded cotton for smocking, colour #900.

This is really nice work. I wish I had as much time as you to devote to making things. However, for now I have to settle on uploading information to my brain by study. I haven't posted any photos and won't get to until the end of May. I have a really important essay to finish.

Cheers

Good luck in your essay.

My essay went really well 35/45. Thank you for the encouragement. No more essays until November.

Cheers
