Here are the progress in various stages in pictures. There are couple of things to do to make this jacket totally finished. They are:
1.Hemming the tailoring way;
2. Shoulder pads and lining; and
3. Attach lining.

More progress at Dorcas today.

I did not follow the instruction from the book to do the eyelet in the center first. I feel pretty good to do one on the side first.
One interesting point about doing this stitch (per Yvette book) is: you do it in anti-clockwise. For my records, eyelets in Ayrshire whitework are working in clockwise.

Here are pictures of my progress in making my first my bound buttonhole. The button is 1 and 1/4 inches wide so adding 1/8 in to it, my button hole is 1 and 3/8 inches wide. When sewing the rectangle I use 1.5 stitch length. There are 5 stitches on the short side of the rectangle.
